Meet Cory

Why did you choose your profession?
I have been passionate about Diversity, Inclusion and Belonging since I was teenager navigating my very public and stressful coming-out process. My early work involved setting up LGBTQ+ inclusion initiatives in public and private educational settings designed to ensure educational equity, boost academic achievement, foster a sense of belonging, and promote school safety. I have always been curious about how to go about creating and curating the right type of environments that help people thrive.
My work organically expanded and evolved over time, as I began to practice in management consulting spaces with a focus on human capital and change management through a lens of DEI.
What is your greatest accomplishment?
The main achievements of my career have been leading the build and implementation of infrastructure and programming, both talent and business related, and operationalizing DEI to drive organizational outcomes at 35+ top companies across industries. More specifically, I am proud that my work has resulted in an increase of underrepresented talent getting a seat at the executive table.
